Gwangju National Museum
역사와 문화가 살아숨쉬는 국립광주박물관Since its opening, the Gwangju National Museum has been carrying out a wide range of excavation and post-excavation surveys and publishing survey reports to document and preserve the findings. Starting with Wonhyosa Temple (1983), the museum has issued around 70 books such as Archeology, Art, Folklore, Archeological Field Survey, and Transfer and Restoration. In addition, various types of materials from seminars such as the international symposium on Gwangju Sinchang-dong Archeological Site have been published and distributed to a number of research institutes and researchers to be used in the research on the culture unique to the southwestern region of the Korean peninsula.
