Imitation of Goguryeo wall paintings

Gwangju National Museum opens a special exhibition and lecture about Goguryeo wall paintings from the 28th March and the 17th April. It aims to criticize China’s North-eastern project, encourage developing understanding of Goguryeo history and culture and show fabulous Goguryeo culture.

Joseon Landscape Painting

Gwangju National Museum opens a special exhibition of Joseon landscape paintings for 2 months from the 23th September to the 21st November.

Exhibition of Popular Lives in Old Photograph

A special exhibition called “Exhibition of Popular Lives in Old Photographs” opens from the 29th June to the 25th July.
About 100 pieces of photographs in this exhibition were taken in various places such as Seoul, Gangreung, Ulreung, Geoje or Busan from 1950s to 1970s and show the public’s lives and scenery of their habitation sites.
